Yesterday our new Italian neighbour moved in. I went to say hello to him. When I got home, my flatmate asked me what he was called. I said,


"His name is Paolo."



This means that I was answering my flatmate’s question about what our new neighbour is called. He is called Paolo, his name is Paolo.
